On the morning of September 18, the "Digital Commerce Boosts Shashi · Connecting the Globe - Shashi District E-commerce Empowerment Practical Training Session" was successfully held. Co-hosted by the Shashi District Bureau of Commerce and the Shashi District Federation of Industry and Commerce, the session was co-organized by Jingzhou Post and the Shashi District Foreign Trade Comprehensive Service Center.
Focusing precisely on the core development needs of Shashi District’s e-commerce industry, this training session integrated high-quality resources from multiple parties. It built an efficient platform for local enterprises that combines learning, exchange, and resource connection, aiming to effectively enhance enterprises’ e-commerce operation capabilities and foreign trade expansion levels, and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of Shashi District’s e-commerce industry.
The session was hosted by Li Han, Deputy Director of the Shashi District Bureau of Commerce. Leaders from the District Bureau of Commerce and the District Federation of Industry and Commerce delivered speeches successively. The leaders pointed out that the e-commerce industry has become a key driver of economic growth, and Shashi District is actively seizing the development opportunities of the digital economy. This training session is not only a concrete action to respond to the policy calls of "Digital Commerce Empowers Agriculture" and "Digital Commerce Empowers Cities", but also an important measure to solve the pain points and difficulties faced by local enterprises in e-commerce operation and cross-border trade. They also encouraged participating enterprises to transform the knowledge gained from the training into practical business efficiency, so as to achieve a win-win situation for both the development of the enterprises themselves and the upgrading of the regional industry.
The training segment focused on the actual needs of enterprises, with content that is both professional and practical:
- Jingzhou Post: Focused on sharing cross-border logistics and delivery services. For different types of goods, it provided comprehensive cross-border logistics solutions covering the selection of transportation routes, timeliness assurance measures, and cost control techniques, offering professional support for enterprises to eliminate bottlenecks in cross-border trade logistics.
- Amazon Platform: Conducted a detailed explanation on the platform’s entry rules, covering the qualification requirements for account registration, the procedures for store opening, as well as platform operation standards and key points for product listing. This provided clear guidance for enterprises to expand into the international market and successfully enter well-known e-commerce platforms.
- Shashi District Foreign Trade Comprehensive Service Center: Gave a comprehensive introduction to its foreign trade comprehensive services, demonstrating the full-process services ranging from foreign trade order connection, document processing, customs declaration and inspection, to foreign exchange settlement and export tax refund. It emphasized that it would provide "one-stop" foreign trade services for enterprises, helping them efficiently solve problems in foreign trade business and "go global" to participate in global trade more conveniently.
- Shashi District Bureau of Commerce: Delivered a special lecture on the latest foreign trade policies. It systematically interpreted the latest national and local policies in areas such as e-commerce support, foreign trade subsidies, and tax incentives, and elaborated on key information including the scope of policy application, application conditions, and declaration procedures. This helped enterprises accurately grasp policy dividends, effectively reduce operating costs, and enhance core competitiveness.
With its rich content and high practical value, this training session won wide acclaim from participating enterprises. Enterprise representatives generally stated that through the training, they systematically learned professional knowledge in fields such as cross-border logistics, platform operation, policy interpretation, and foreign trade services, accumulating valuable resources for their future development.
