Schools and enterprises work together to cultivate talents and strive for excellence on the competition field

Recently, the final of the 2025 National College Business Elite Challenge International Trade Competition (International Trade Business Simulation Track) concluded. With the in-depth guidance and support of Hubei Footway Import & Export Trading Co., Ltd., the student team from the School of Economics and Management of Yangtze University stood out among numerous university teams nationwide and won the second prize in the competition, demonstrating the remarkable effectiveness of school-enterprise cooperation in the field of practical education.

As a key project of the "Hundred Universities Serving Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Brand Building and International Market Development", this competition is co-sponsored by the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Commercial Industry Chamber of the China International Chamber of Commerce, and is a top domestic business professional competition.

During the preparation process, Footway Company gave full play to its enterprise resource advantages, provided leather shoe samples from its affiliated factories for students of Yangtze University, and carried out professional guidance on core elements such as product process characteristics, market positioning, and target customer groups. Based on this, the student team deeply studied industry trends, and carefully formulated an innovative and practical business plan around the dimensions of product design optimization, overseas market promotion, and precise marketing strategies, deeply integrating classroom theoretical knowledge with the actual needs of enterprises.  The teaching team participated throughout the process, providing all-round support in professional knowledge deepening, negotiation skills polishing, team collaboration optimization, and other aspects, forming a joint education force between the school and the enterprise.

At the final site, the participating team of Yangtze University was calm and outstanding. They won high recognition from the judges with their deep understanding of international trade business and innovative business thinking.  "The real business scenarios and professional guidance provided by Fortuna enabled us to more accurately grasp the market pulse, which was the key to the success of the plan," said the representative of the award-winning students.  The relevant person in charge of the School of Economics and Management of Yangtze University also expressed gratitude to Footway Company for its sponsorship and support, emphasizing that this cooperation not only significantly improved students' practical capabilities but also provided new ideas for the college to deepen the integration of production and education.
